Is there a British wildlife event as compelling and dramatic as the annual deer rut? Maybe, but I haven’t seen it.
This series was taken one rainy morning in late October. I had promised myself I’d go and catch the sunrise at the local deer park, however on waking the sky was grey and rain imminent. A sunrise wasn’t going to happen.
Despite this, I forced myself out of bed with the philosophy that bad weather usually equals spectacular photos. It served me well.
I really enjoyed this shoot, and am very much looking forward to getting out in the woods again!
