About Me

An innate love of the natural world coupled with a desire to spend as much time outside and in remote and extreme environments lead me to a career as documentary camera op.

Picking up a camera during my time at uni studying zoology, I fell in love with telling stories visually. I immersed myself in learning the craft enjoying both technical and artistic perspectives.

I’ve just finished working as a Junior Camera Operator for the BBC Natural History Unit on a new blue chip landmark coming in 2024, and have worked on a wide variety of broadcast and commercial projects.

What I enjoy most about this work is working with light and environment to create well told visual stories.

As a camera-op I enjoy building the visual story of a film, helping plan sequences around behaviours and figuring out how to use new tech to elevate visual storytelling with cinematography techniques.
