In February 2019, Patrick Aryee and I found ourselves in Ol Pejeta Conservancy covering the story of the last two northern white rhinos on the planet.

We’d been sent out to interview James Mwenda by Helping Rhinos for an upcoming charity event. After creating our deliverables for them, we were contacted by the BBC’s Seven Worlds, One Planet team who were interested in purchasing some of the footage. Some of our rushes ended up in their online conservation short.

Finally, BBC Wildlife magazine interviewed Patrick as part of their Wildlife Champions series. This is the first time I’ve had stills published in this publication.
